Hi there,

I'm so glad you're here because it means you're thinking of starting a family or you might have a little one on the way. I'll do my best to tell you about myself in hopes that you feel inspired to reach out for a meeting so we can get to know one another.

I grew up in South Carolina and moved West in 2013. I spent the majority of my career in the wine industry, mostly in sales. When I became pregnant with my son, Oliver, I was absolutely terrified. At the time, I had no idea how beautiful and transformative labor and birth truly are.

I spent my entire pregnancy absorbing every birth story and piece of information I could find. I kept thinking to myself that I wanted everyone starting a family to have access to a support person and that as soon as I felt able, I would help provide that in my community. The love, support and safety I felt from my birth team is something I want every family to have, whether they're in a hospital or at home, whether this is their first baby or third, whether this is a planned Cesarean birth or a VBAC. We all deserve a choice in how we want to bring life into this world. It is my honor to walk alongside families in this journey.

I live in Port Townsend with my husband and our "big kid" Oliver. I currently provide support for local families who are awaiting the arrival of their little ones and I assist our local midwife with her planned home births. I also teach prenatal and postpartum yoga at a studio in uptown Port Townsend. I really love food, sunshine, beeswax candles, getting to know the awesome women in our community here and exercising (yoga, swimming in the Sound, and a morning kettle-bell class).

I hope you feel a sense of connection and that I've conveyed my desire for you to have a safe and loving birth story, no matter how you want that to look. It's your choice and I'm here to hold your hand and provide you tools for success.
